Must have REAL desire and passion for Travelling- both present AND past- tense.

Must have a higher than Grade School education. While not essential, University education an asset.

3/ EXCEPTIONAL COMMUNICATION SKILLS:
The ability to display excellent conversational skills in cross-cultural situations. Must have the skills to control a scene of scripted AND unscripted conversational dialogue, with locals and fellow backpackers.

4/ QUICK INITIATIVE:
Must display quick initiative and good “Improv” skills- particularly when Scenes don’t go to script. CRUCIAL to be able to Think, Act, and Speak quickly on one’s feet. Must be goal orientated and determined.

5/ FRIENDLY AND APPROACHABLE:
Must have a persona that is open, approachable and warm- as will be expected to interact socially with the locals and fellow backpackers alike.

6/ A TEAM PLAYER/ YET INDEPENDENT: Must have experience in working in team-orientated environment. Must be open to creating a Fun and Dynamic relationship between themselves and the other Host. Yet must be able to display skills of independence, as will be required to think and act independently from the other Host when situations arise.
