Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, test, document, and implement a variety of networking equipment including firewalls, web-app firewalls, load balancers, switches, VPN, IDS/IPS, SIEM systems

Experience and skills:

• University degree or technical diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution
• 5+ years of related IT related network experience, 3+ years of information security experience, in a corporate environment
• Expert understanding of TCP/IP and network technologies such as clustered firewalls, vlans, VPN, etc.
• Proven experience with IPS/IDP systems
• Extensive knowledge of security threats and attack techniques, with a demonstrated ability to stay abreast of new developments and trends, and a strong understanding of available solutions and countermeasures

TASKS

• Write complex SQL queries
