Position Available: Security Guard(s)

Location: York Region, Ontario

Schedule: Full-time (Contract)

Job Description: – Patrol assigned areas on foot to guard against theft, vandalism, trespassing and fire. – Perform control room duties and access control. – Enforce regulations of the establishment to maintain order and resolve conflicts. – Ensure that establishment safety and emergency procedures are followed. – Respond to fire alarms, threats and other emergencies. – Follow radio and emergency telephone procedures. – Outdoor site. – Understand the Criminal Code and Provincial statutes.

Minimum Qualifications: – Completion of high school. – excellent customer service skills. – strong writtena and verbal communication skills. – strong problem solving skills. – reliable and punctual. – speak, read, and write in English fluently. – A vehicle is required – Must hold a valid security guard license issued by the Ontario Ministry of Community and Correctional Services or be willing to obtain one.
