Overview
1. Providing technical architectural designs solutions/reviews for major business application and technology initiatives.
2. Presenting work for review in structured walkthrough presentations of application systems to/with project team members and users during various stages of the development process;
3. Acting as an internal consultant on all infrastructure related items while participate in all phases of the project development life cycle:
4. Mentoring and coaching other team members on technical issues;
5. Assisting in the documentation of system test strategies, and the execution of the tests
6. Providing suggestions for viable solutions to systems problems of high complexity.
7. Investigating, analyzing and resolving system problems during standard working hours and assigned on-call hours.
8. Escalating and/or reporting system problems to management as per the documented escalation procedures.

Requirements
The ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of Web-based information technology principles, Architecture, System Integration, Methodologies and Standards/Metrics.

•Minimum 4-5 years in Consulting or Corporate Systems Development environments or equivalent experience.
•Minimum 3-4 years of work experience in design and development of software in Unix platforms preferred.
•Experienced in DataStage, ETL tooling, Java, WebSphere, HTML, XML, Javascript, UNIX shell scripting.
•Basic knowledge of database e design principles.
•Knowledge of UML and modern software design, requirements specification and distributed system principles.
•Familiar with Windows NT/2000 and UNIX operating systems.
•Exceptional comprehension and written/oral communication skills. Must be organized, reliable, pro-active, results oriented and attentive to details.
•Strong analytical skills with the ability to work effectively with various members of a project team. Demonstrate creativity with the ability to use diplomacy and influence to reach goals.
