Fluxgold Izsak Jaeger LLP's team of partners, associates and law clerks provide services in various areas including collection litigation, debt enforcement, mortgage remedies and commercial litigation.
We are currently looking for a confident, organized, self-starter to fill the position of Litigation Law Clerk.
Litigation Law Clerk
Key Responsibilities:
? Prepares legal correspondence, motion records, pleadings and court documents
? Produces correspondence and documents both independently and from dictation
? Maintains an efficient and organized file management system
? Processes billing
? Manages workflow and deadlines
? Communicates with clients, court personnel, and service providers
? Performs general office and clerical duties
The successful candidate must have exceptional organizational skills and must demonstrate the following:
? A minimum of 3 years experience working as a Litigation Clerk or Assistant in a Commercial Litigation practice
? College diploma in a law clerk/legal assistant program
? Experience in mortgage enforcement/collections/debt enforcement litigation
? Detail oriented with strong multi-tasking and problem solving skills
? Ability to take initiative and work under pressure
? Ability to manage multiple client files in a fast-paced environment
? Ability to work well independently as well as in a team
? Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
? Computer Savvy! Must be proficient with Microsoft Office 2003 and working knowledge of PC Law
