G Adventures is seeking an experienced, highly-motivated, forward-thinking Web Designer to join our Creative Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing the overall experience on gadventures.com and related websites. You will work with the Web Producer, Graphic Designers and Development team to champion the user experience, develop a consistent look and feel, re-fresh and re-design areas of the site as required.

Responsibilities: *Develop and maintain front-end components of the website Design promotional pages, landing pages and overall site layout *Publish, monitor, and update site content as required Design and develop gadventures.com and related sites functionality, features and design as required *Write the necessary code and tests required to implement changes to the website(s) that meet business needs in a reliable and dependable manner *Consult with the business unit, gather requirements from project and team members to develop and evolve the online experience *Keep apprised of developments in the online space and make appropriate recommendations for continuous enhancement *Help to improve systems, introduce processes and procedure for project development

Requirements: *Completion of a post-secondary program in website development with a proven eye for design *3-5 years of experience using web based languages: HTML, CSS, Javascript and other programming languages *3-5 years of experience designing, developing and maintaining Web pages and sites *3-5 years experience with Photoshop and Illustrator *Knowledge of a wide variety of specialized software applications to create graphics and convert Web authoring practices, design, architetcture, and presentation techniques preferrable *Experience with UI, Ajax, Python, HTML5 an asset
