Conventional Machinist – Horizontal/Vertical Boring
Woodbridge - Permanent – Immediate
Shifts – rotating days and afternoons 4 days/week
7:30 am – 4:00 pm and 3:30 pm – 1:30 am
If you are looking to put your highly specialized skills to work – we have a solid client who is a world leader in supplying pumps, valves, seals, automation, and services to the power, oil, gas, chemical, and other industries. They are currently looking for a conventional open face boring machinist.
The role:
- Hands on experience with conventional horizontal/vertical open face boring – set up, adjusting and operating (Union and Picard)
- Experience in interpreting and reading blue prints.
- Expertise in operating numerous measuring instruments
You will need:
- 3-5 years experience with horizontal/vertical boring in very tight tolerance environment
- Dual ticket in welding or millwright would be a huge asset.
- Experience with steel, cast iron, & stainless steel mandatory
- Strong communication skills and must be a team player.
