Network Administrator (Full-Time) (Oakville, Ontario)

Our client in Oakville is looking for a Network Administrator to join its team in a full-time role. The Network Administrator is to be responsible for ensuring the stable operation of information systems and networks. He/she will work under the direction of the Director of Technology Services to support and maintain the infrastructure at various North American locations. He/she must have a strong work ethic with the ability to work well under pressure. Strong initiative, excellent organizational and time management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines will ensure immediate success.
Qualifications:
Candidates to meet consideration for this full-time career opportunity as a Network Administrator will have 3 or more years of experience with Network Support in addition to the following:
Initial configuration of switches, routers and wireless access points;
Remote troubleshooting of switches, routers and wireless access points;
Monitoring of traffic across all network equipment;
Report on traffic patterns and identify areas for improvement;
Assist in planning and designing of new network infrastructure;
Co-ordination of remote network access via MPLS extranets;
Administration of QIP DHCP/DNS system;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
Excellent customer service skills;
Experience in a ticketing system;
Ability to travel as needed;
Cisco Certified Network Administrator Certification (CCNA);
Ability to work independently and be an effective contributor in a diversified team.
