SECURITY GUARDS NEEDED (GTA TORONTO )

Title: Security guard (NOC: 6651)
Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time, On Call, Shift, Overtime, Weekend, Day, Night, Evening
Salary: $11.00 to $14.00 Hourly for 40 hours per week, Must Be available for shift work!!!
Anticipated Start Date: As soon as possible
Location: GTA Toronto, Ontario (12 vacancies )
Skill Requirements:
Education: Completion of high school
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Security Guard basic, training program certificate, Security Guard Licence
Experience: No experience
Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
Type of Assignments: Fixed post, Foot patrol, Patrol post, Roving patrol
Specific Skills: Enforce regulations of establishments, Resolve conflict situations, Maintain order, Deliver cash and valuables, Use telecommunications (i.e. two-way radio, cell phone, pager), Follow radio and emergency telephone procedures, Monitor security television, Operate security control room equipment, Ensure safety and emergency procedures are followed, Attend to persons with special needs, Control vehicular and pedestrian traffic, Ensure safety of children crossing roads, Respond to alarms, bomb threats and other emergencies, Detect or prevent thefts and vandalism, Make arrests under the Criminal Code of Canada, Write reports, Appear in court as witness
Security and Safety: Basic security clearance, Criminal record check
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, walking
Transportation/Travel Information: Own transportation, Own vehicle, Willing to travel, Valid driver's licence
Essential Skills: Document use, Writing, Oral communication, Working with others, Problem solving, Critical thinking, Significant use of memory, Finding information
