IMMEDIATE OPENINGS to start ongoing temporary full time assignment. This is a full time position within a very respected and professional employer in the logistics and distribution industry, with possibility to hire person permanently pending satisfactory performance. Requirements: Valid Counterbalance forklift certificate AND Raymond Reach certificate (to be submitted at time of interview)
Start date: ASAP (interviews underway this week)
Pay rate: $14.50/hr paid weekly (May be flexible depending on experience. Position pays weekly; every Friday – direct deposit available).
Shift time: Afternoons – 11am to 7:30pm.
Location: Major intersection is Dundas and Hwy 403 – border of Mississauga and Oakville
Length of assignment: Ongoing full time. Successful candidate will be hired on permanently.

*Must speak/read fluent English. *Must have reliable transportation every day to Dundas/Hwy 403 area (please check bus routes before applying). *Must be dedicated – job is full time, 5 days per week, 40 hours minimum. *Must be willing to work overtime and some weekends.

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:

We are recruiting for a Material Handling Equipment Operator to join the Inventory Team at our clients location in Mississauga. The MHE Operator is responsible for picking of orders, physically putting inventory away and replenishment of pick locations. The MHE Operator will also assist with inventory counts. The MHE Operator is responsible to comply with the regulatory GMP and corporate polices as well as uphold safety polices including safe work practices.

SPECIFIC DUTIES:

FILE MAINTENANCE

• Prepare monthly skid count reports.
• Assist with internal cycle counts.
• Complete stock moves in Warehouse Management System.
• Complete work orders for Skid transfers.
• Complete damaged product forms as required.

INVENTORY

• Replenish pick location.
• Put new product into the locations as indicated by receiver.
• Stage and load out bound shipments.
• Ensure accurate labelling on items before putting away.

ISSUE RESOLUTION AND REPORTING

• Report system issues via Helpdesk.
• Physically move damaged product to designated location and notify inventory control.

OTHER DUTIES

• Ensure the security of all product handling in accordance to government regulation.
• Perform other duties as requested by Supervisor or Distribution Manager.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Performs other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Secondary Education preferred
• Certified to operate MHE such as Counterbalance, Raymond Reach, Forklift, Walkie, etc
• Ability to use RF gun
• Able to read, write and understand English
• Above average attention to detail
• Knowledge WMS and TMS systems
• Good knowledge of GMP

Safety shoes are a must, and own transportation required.
