Job Description:
The Front Desk Agent will be responsible for assigning guest rooms, setting their accounts, answering guest inquiries via the telephone; providing information about hotel services and tourism information about the city; exchanging foreign currency and most importantly responding to and resolving guest problems and concerns.
Job Requirements:
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of one years' experience in hospitality and guest service and be enrolled or a graduate of a post secondary school program in tourism/hospitality. Must have strong computer skills and previous experience handling cash. The Agent must have the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of guests and employees. Excellent organizational, computer, cash handling, analytical and problem solving skills are required. Candidates must have very strong oral and written communication skills. Having an energetic and outgoing, positive attitude is required. Must be able to show they are driven to provide outstanding guest service.
