We have an immediate requirement for a Graphic Designer, reporting to the Creative Director. The Graphic Designer is responsible for the creation and development of all marketing material, corporate collateral, and seasonal catalogues. The candidate will understand and implement the brand guidelines to ensure all corporate and promotional material are executed consistently in order to maintain brand integrity.
A strong eye for detail, a creative edge and a passion for the giftware /home decor /fashion industry are a must in this deadline driven environment.
Duties:
• Design seasonal product catalogues
• Create and design collateral material such as but not limited to brochures, sales kits, statement inserts and order forms
• Create and design marketing material such as but not limited to e-flyers, e-newsletter, banner ads and tradeshow signage
• Develop and design print advertising campaigns
• Website design
• Design product labels, packaging and POP material
• Design graphics for products
Qualifications:
• Must be creative, efficient, meticulous, highly motivated and a fast learner with good visual memory skills
• Ability to multi-task under tight deadlines
• Your experience must include a solid background in corporate communications, website design, brochures/catalogue design and corporate identity/brand development
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment with minimal supervision.
• Must have a high degree of proficiency in the following: Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver)
• Solid understanding of Microsoft Office Products (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.)
• A degree/diploma in Graphic Design is required, as well as at least 3-5 years relevant work experience.
