Industrial Electricians
at Human Resources 101 in Toronto
Our client is excited to expand their Maintenance Team with an Industrial Electrician for the Toronto manufacturing facility and an Industrial Electrician for the Mississauga facility. The Toronto operation is 24/7 and the Mississauga operation has both 2 and 3 shift operations running 5 days a week.

RESPONSIBILITIES include, but not limited to:
Industrial Electrician
Ability to work with and trouble shoot PLC’s (Allen-Bradley, Omron, etc.)
Ability to work with AC/DC Drives
Ability to read Ladder Logic Diagram
Strong ability to troubleshoot electrical related machine problems and work alongside with the other maintenance and production team members to ensure uptime and limit downtime
Ability to due electrical construction including bending conduit, new installations and panel building
Must understand and work to the regulations under the Ontario Electrical Safety Code
Experience in a high speed manufacturing environment is a key asset
To continually meet Company housekeeping and safety requirements
To identify and report any safety hazards within the facility and meet all objectives and standards ensuring that all safety procedures are met
Industrial Millwright
Responsible for preventative maintenance, general machine maintenance and repairs on process equipment including but not limited to pumps, gearboxes, rolling mill, wire drawing machines, gas and electric furnaces
Must be able to perform a variety of skilled functions utilizing welding, fabrication, machining, troubleshooting, basic electrical and solid mechanical expertise
Must demonstrate a successful ability to repair any mechanical breakdowns in the shortest possible time and make an analysis of the failure to determine the reason and future prevention
Must be able to work on an 8-hour steady nightshift schedule but with the understanding that if the business requires to change to a 24/7 or rotating 24/5 shift schedule then this requirement would be met
Must demonstrate an ability to effectively and efficiently work alongside other maintenance and production team members to ensure uptime and limit downtime
Must demonstrate a safety first attitude and adhere to all safety practices, policies and regulations
Must continually meet and exceed Company housekeeping and safety requirements
Must immediate report to management any safety hazards observed within the facility and must meet all objectives and standards with respect to safety and safety procedures. Must also notify management if there are any questions regarding any safety procedures and/or safety issues
Must have an ability to construct pieces of equipment and machine parts from blueprints and/or broken parts
Required to participate, as needed, in the installation of entirely new or re-located lines with regard to piping, air equipment, water and hydraulics
Must have a desire to learn and must be able to adapt and learn quickly
Must be able to verbally communicate effectively
To continually contribute to the profitability of the Company and ongoing business operations by initiating, recommending and implementing continuous improvement strategies and initiatives in all areas from environmental, safety, quality and productivity
To conduct any general duties, specific projects and responsibilities as assigned or required by the Maintenance Manager in a timely and professional manner
