Service Technician - ECOLAB (Toronto)

In this entry-level full-time Route Manager position, you will provide timely and cost effective cleaning and sanitation solutions within an established sales route to your around the clock customers consisting of restaurants and other Institutional foodservice accounts. You will partner with your existing customers to understand their dishwashing and cleaning needs and provide cleaning solutions and ideas to ensure customer satisfaction.
Main Responsibilities:
Using your mechanical aptitude, install and repair dish machines, laundry equipment and dispensing systems. Demonstrate safe equipment use and ensure the machines and dispensing systems are fully operational.
Suggest and sell additional cleaning solutions and ideas to your current accounts to create customer satisfaction.
Ecolab will jump start your career with a training program that consists of on-the-job training as well as attending classroom training through Ecolab University at our corporate headquarters.
As a Route Manager in Training, your initial training period will be a minimum of 3 months.
Key Qualifications:
Demonstrated hands-on mechanical ability, including electrical, plumbing, and mechanical experience.
Ability to sell value added products to existing customers.
Effectively identify and resolve problems efficiently while working independently displaying a disciplined work style and strong work ethic.
Flexibility to adapt and adjust your day to assist your customers in order to succeed in this fast paced, around the clock environment.
You must be able to lift and carry 100 pounds.
You have a valid drivers license and good driving record.
High school diploma required; additional post secondary education is an asset.
Two years related work experience or military experience.

Weekend on-call coverage : 1 ever 3 weeks
