UnNomDeGuerre Media is Looking for Writers! (GTA)
at Jobs in Toronto in Toronto
Vancouver-based UnNomDeGuerre Media is seeking three new volunteer writers for their online 'blogazine'. Having interviewed artists like Mother Mother, Noah and the Whale and Cut Copy, UnNomDeGuerre is an up and coming voice on the Canadian media scene. We are looking for writers who are willing to lend their own voice to our site and gain experience with interview skills and writing for new media.
One of the positions will be filled by a writer with a finger on the pulse of the Canadian music scene, preferably located in Eastern Canada.
We are also looking for two writers to each focus on fashion and film with a focus on those from Canada; these may be located anywhere in Canada.
Interested parties may submit an application on the contact form on the website (http://unnomdeguerre.squarespace.com/contact) or through this ad with the following information:
- experience or CV and at least two pieces of sample writing (may be a blog post, school assignment, or online posting of a printed article)
- a general idea of what types of art and artists the writer has an interest in.
- what types of articles the writer prefers to write or feels are their strongest formats.
Writers must be able to commit to at least two posts a week. Unpublished authors will be considered given strong writing skills. All parties will be contacted. Payment will be in the form of press passes and experience/portfolio additions.
