Network Administrator Support Specialist Needed (Mississauga)

An IT Consulting Company looking for a full time Network Administration Support Specialist. The ideal candidate has current working knowledge of network hardware components including servers, workstations, laptops, routers, and switches.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Network hardware admin and support
• Candidate should be proficient in networking basics, LAN/WAN technologies.
• MS OS support
• Desktop support, PC installation and maintenance, creating new users and profiles, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, performing system backups/restores, and executing software upgrades
• Configure and maintain workstations
• Tape backup/restore
• Assist with the deployment of security patches, hot fixes, and software updates
• Assist in IT policies and procedures documentation
• Periodic travel to various location is required.
• Candidate should be willing to work in a 24/7 environment.
Qualifications & Skills:
• Minimum 2 years or applicable work experience in a MS Windows network environment
• Working knowledge of network components including servers, switches, routers, hubs, NICs, fiber modules, printers, desktops, and laptops
• Aptitude for analyzing, troubleshooting, and researching IT solutions
• Fluent in speaking, reading, and writing in English
• Proficiency in MS Server 20010 and Active Directory Services, MS Windows XP, MS Office 2010 through 2010, and MS Exchange 2010 is an asset
• Flexibility, outstanding communication skills and the ability to work in a team oriented environment are essential in this position
