A.K.A. is a Toronto based communications and technology company seeking a Senior (.NET) Developer in support of its A.K.A. raisin product. AKA raisin is a leading-edge online fundraising application developed for the not-for-profit industry to support their online fundraising initiatives and maximize funds raised.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Analyze business requirements, technically design, develop, deploy and maintain web-based and stand-alone applications using Microsoft .NET technologies.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Must have a minimum of 5-6 years of relevant Internet application development experience on the .NET platform, including experience in creating UI interface for web applications and improving usability of existing applications with ASP.NET & AJAX. Also, ability to create technical documentation (Software Detailed Design) is a must.
Specific software development skills required:
-- Microsoft .NET platform (2.0/3.5/4.0) C#.NET, ASP.NET, AJAX
-- Microsoft Visual Studio 2008/2010
-- Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008, incl. creation of stored procedures (medium complexity)
-- JavaScript, jQuery with various plugin libraries
ADDITIONAL SKILLS:
Proficiency with other types of development tools, languages and database environments including WinForms, WPF, WCF, Microsoft SQL Reporting Services & SQL Management Studio, Crystal Reports, Telerik controls & Microsoft TFS will be considered an asset.
The individual should be responsible, self-motivated, energetic, and inquisitive with strong interpersonal communication and teamwork skills. Clear and concise written and verbal communication with effective time management.
Familiar with standard System Development Lifecycle methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall. Has experience applying Object-Oriented Analysis and Design. Exhibit work experience completing projects through the entire SDLC.
