Senior Compensation and Benefits Manager (GTA)

Our client, a global specialist in energy management with operations in more than 100 countries, wants to hire a strategic-minded Compensation and Benefits Professional to join their global Human Resources team as the Rewards Solutions Manager for Canada.
Reporting to the North America Rewards Vice-President, you will be directly responsible for conceptualizing, developing, implementing and communicating rewards solution programs for Canada.
To be considered for this position, you must have the following:
- 7-10 years of experience in conceptualizing, developing, implementing and communicating compensation and benefit programs
- Bachelor's degree in Business or a related field -- certification in compensation and/or benefits would be a big advantage
- Excellent consulting, data-analysis and project-management skills
- Ability to influence and negotiate with the Senior Management
- Strong presentation and problem-solving skills
The primary focus of your role will be to:
- Provide strategic direction and develop recommendations on compensation and benefit programs for Canada
- Evaluate the current reward programs and design a single-converged, competitive and cost-effective reward program that complies with legal requirements
- Manage external vendors to ensure cost-effective and efficient administration of all programs
- Prepare communication and training material for delivery by HR Business Partners
- Provide training to the Operations team members who deploy and administer the new compensation and benefit programs
