Tristar is a leading company in the Infomercial / Direct Response industry manufacturing and distributing consumer goods globally.
Tristar seeks an Administrative Assistant (Home based potential).
Pay Rate: $13.50/hr
Hours: Part-time 20-30 hours per week (Potential for full-time)
Language: English – Strong. (Mandarin an asset)
Car: Asset
*Looking for someone that lives in the Richmond Hill / Thornhill / Maple area/Markham/
Responsibilities:
Administrative and clerical duties such as filing, scanning, printing, answering phone calls, reviewing and responding to e-mails.
Prepare correspondence including letters, memos, presentations.
Manage, track and summarize inventory and order status, including maintaining consistently updated and accurate spreadsheets.
Communicate directly with overseas manufacturing contacts, including following-up on factory issues and responding to customer requests.
Track expenses.
Manage ad hoc projects as assigned.
Requirements:
Experience in a fast-paced administrative role, in a multicultural environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) and Microsoft Outlook (SharePoint experience would be an asset).
Professional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
Extremely organized and detail-oriented. Strong multi-tasking, time-management and problem-solving skills.
High level of initiative and the ability to employ a proactive and positive approach towards all aspects of the job.
Ability to work without supervision, independently and in a team environment.
