About us:
Our client is an industrial automation service facility. Headquartered in Oakville Ontario, the company operates with 3 branches across Canada. We have been in business for over 20 years and are continuously expanding and growing. We are looking to add to our talent base by identifying enthusiastic, career minded, innovative and most importantly team players who are willing to go the mile to get the job done.

Job Summary Statement:
The customer service Agent will be expected to perform entry level administrative tasks as well as be required to help purchase goods, keep customers updated with ongoing work as well as participate in complex negotiating with vendors.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
- Review purchase orders, confer with other departments to verify orders, contact vendors, aiding with various purchasing procedures.
- Expedite and follow up on purchase orders, filing of PO's and other Purchasing documentation.
- Essential tasks also involve determining analyzing quotes, cost and product availability, keeping customers up to date with jobs and recommending and initiating purchase of materials, supplies and services. Setting up new customers in the database and comfortable with navigating/ sourcing on the internet.

Job Specifications-Skills and Competencies:
- Good interpersonal skills, analytic ability, good communication skills (oral and written)
- Organized and extremely detailed. Must be able to multi task.
- Familiarity with Business vision considered a valuable asset.  Must be proficient in computer software (Outlook, excel, word), basic accounting skills also an asset.

Education and Training
Education: Post Secondary College Degree  

Experience: 2-4 years experience in Customer Service Relations
