Production Supervisor
Responsibilities
Front line supervision of production employees and processes.
Plans and directs the efficient utilization of all plant equipment and manpower.
Ensures that all plant policies and safety rules are understood and adhered to.
Trains, coaches and mentors employees in positive manner.
Creates and maintains clear lines of communication and provides timely feedback to employees.
Monitors, tracks and improves production quality and plant performance.
Implements and supports performance improvement initiatives including Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement and 5S practices.
Qualifications
Undergraduate degree from a recognized University. College graduates will be considered.
A minimum of 3 years experience as a production supervisor or production team leader.
Fully competent/experienced in ISO9001/2000 requirements.
Ability to work in a fast paced, entrepreneurial work environment.
Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to deliver results combined with a keen desire to be the best in the industry.
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TQM and Continuous Improvement.
Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
