full time Receptionist/ General Customer Support (Toronto GTA)

We are a leading in-home tutoring franchise located in Toronto currently with offices in Canada/US/UK/Trinidad & Tobago, and Ireland representing leading-edge tutoring services.

Excellent opportunity for candidates with experience in administration and customer service.


Responsibilities:
• Greet Visitors and direct them to meetings or appointments
• Answer basic inquiries by providing basic information to clients, suppliers, staff and public
• Answer phones, screen and route calls to the appropriate individuals
• Coordinate and process incoming and outgoing mail including faxes, electronic mail and traditional mail through courier services
• Create reports as a result of data supplied
• Order and replenish office supplies, service office equipment, and arrange for servicing in the case of major repairs
• Assist in cleaning of front office space and kitchenette area
• Filing, photocopying, faxing, and minutes taking as required
• Other administrative/office duties as required

Requirements:

• Excellent communication and customer service skills (both listening and speaking),
• A friendly and pleasant, but persistent manner
• Good problem solver with the ability to identify alternative solutions
• Previous experience in an office environment at front desk reception answering multiple lines and extensions
• Sufficient typing skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Experience with filing and data entry
• Strong time management, organizational skills with an ability to multitask
• Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
• Attention to detail and timely completion of tasks
