Job Title: Project Manager
Location: Oakville
Job Duties:
Our client is looking to add to their growing team. They are looking for a strong Project Manager to step into the role of Account Manager and work with the technical team on various projects. The Account Manager will manage the day to day functions of the projects and work closely with clients to ensure that all project objectives are being met.
PLEASE NOTE This role does require travel to the US therefore all candidates considered must be able to travel to the US.
Project Management:
• Responsible for maintaining all project timelines and budgets
• Creating strategies for over-budget and timeline slips
• Reviewing consultants' weekly timesheets
• Scope containment, change requests for assigned customers
• Proactive risk containment
• Scrum Master for assigned customers
• Dealing with the unexpected during implementations
• Responding to billing disputes
Consulting:
• Quarterly strategic reviews with assigned clients
• Scope Review Meetings for new prospects
• Set appropriate sprint breakdown structure, budget and timeline
• Assist in project budgeting and quoting for projects for assigned customers
• Final walk-through and sign-off on site configuration
• Ensuring methodology is followed throughout implementation
Other:
• Conduct post-project reviews of each team member
• Escalation point for team members
• Mentorship of team members
• Team recruitment
• Determining appropriate staffing levels for assigned projects
• Disciplinary action, when required
Skill Requirements:
• Five (5) years of project management hands-on experience.
• Previous experience in ecommerce and Microsoft ERP systems preferred
• Collegial or University degree; or equivalent work experience.
• PMP certification is an asset.
• Strong experience with Microsoft technology.
• Previous direct involvement in other e-commerce related applications
• Methodical, self-motivated and creative.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team, to give and receive constructive criticism
