Job Role:
You will be a software developer in a team developing Flash-based video sharing tools, facebook applications, and microsites all designed for the social web, using Flash & ActionScript 3, PHP and MySQL. Working with graphic artists, social media planners and account managers, you will assist in developing shareable video, audio or contest applications. You may be asked to work on other related tools, including limited back-end PHP/MySQL systems, HTML layouts, Facebook fan pages.
Qualifications and experience required:
1. Post-secondary degree in a related field or equivalent experience
2. Basic Flash CS4 or newer, ActionScript 3, ActionScript 2
3. HTML5 layout experience
4. Basic Javascript
5. Basic CSS
6. Basic XML
7. Basic PHP 5 programming
8. Basic Photoshop - image slicing, exporting
9. Basic Illustrator - image slicing, exporting
10. Facebook - Facebook fan page application administration
11. Software quality assurance
Optional qualifications:
1. Video format conversion experience
2. Facebook application development experience
3. Other web programming languages
4. YouTube channel administration
5. Twitter channel administration
Ideal Candidate Profile:
You are a recent graduate of a related college or university program seeking to gain experience working in a web development position working with other developers, graphic artists, and account managers.
Compensation Package: Commensurate with experience.
Recruitment Process:
A two part interview process will be involved, first with key production staff, and later with ownership. A tour of the office and introductions will be included.
