Sr. Level Creative Designer (Downtown Toronto)

Sutton Compliance Communications is currently looking for a Sr. Level Creative Designer to join our dynamic team. This role will involve designing innovative and attractive websites, developing the front-end code and integrating everything with our proprietary CMS and back-end database systems. Please note that successful candidates should have a background in designing and developing in a professional, corporate setting.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Proven examples of creativity and innovation within a corporate setting
- Strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite applications
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript and JQuery
- Knowledge of Flash and ActionScript
- Experience designing for browser and mobile compatibility
- Experience designing for and working with Content Management Systems
- Experiencing in slicing and optimizing graphics
- Knowledge of W3C Standards- Experience in HTML 5
- Knowledge of ASP.NET and/or PHP
- Knowledge of SEO best practices
- Experience in web design and production (including InDesign and QuarkXPress)
- At least 3-5 years of recent working experience, preferably in a corporate setting
Soft Skills:
- Experience working with various departments such as development, project management and sales
- Strong communication skills and fluency in English, both verbal and written
- Ability to take guidance from a senior art director
- Great attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet specified deadlines or organize work around changing priorities
