E-Com Coordinator (Dufferin/Lawrence)

Objective:
The E-Commerce Coordinator will be responsible for the development, execution and maintenance of our e-commerce business and marketing initiatives by updating the online catalogue, homepage and calendar. This person also handles all social networking outlets associated with ecommerce and provides reports on the top selling merchandise. The E-Commerce Coordinator acts as a liaison between the e-commerce website and our customers ensuring their needs and expectations are met and a positive shopping experience was had.
Responsibilities:
- Initiate and lead company e-commerce strategy and drive website development and growth through implementation of industry best practices
- Develop and implement innovative ideas maximize online revenue and visitor engagement activity
- Use web analytics and customer data provided to consistently improve the customer experience
- Liaise with the Buying and Planning Group to conduct ongoing trend and sales analysis, sell through and out of stocks stats
- Ensure accuracy of site content
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by researching, and benchmarking state-of-the-art practices and remaining up to date on industry best practices.
- Perform day-to-day maintenance of the websites'.
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in Marketing and/or related experience
- 1 years experience with e-commerce
- Thorough understanding of online retailing, online analytics, SEO and CRM database marketing.
- Experience with content management systems.
- Able to work well under pressure in a task/module oriented project team environment.
- Excellent organization and time management skills.
