Creative Designer/Web Developer (Etobicoke)

Peak Performance Products is a one of Canada's leading distributors of Natural Health Products. Headquartered in Etobicoke, Ontario, we are looking for a self-motivated, team oriented individual to create eye catching ads and point of sale material and to maintain our website and social media networks
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
• Work with manufacturers & sales department to create and design ads and point of sale material
• Design and create email marketing campaigns and integrate them with social media
• Maintain website, facebook and twitter pages and update as needed.
• Design, create and update images for Quarterly catalogue
• Design and create ads for monthly publications as well as manage deadlines and booking.
• Maintain a highly organized data file management system
• Remain fluent in current industry software (i.e. Illustrator, Photoshop, Web Publishing, Quark Express, Freehand etc.) and graphic trends.
• Work with printers to ensure transfer of design to production is efficient, error free & cost effective.
Education and Experience
• 2 to 4 year graphic design/fine arts diploma/degree from recognized institution or post secondary PC; Mac technology or graphics training or equivalent work experience in the graphics industry experience
• Proficiency in: CS3 and above (Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Proficient skills in: XHTML, CCS, PHP, ASP.net
• Experienced with Social media
• Excellent communications skills (written and verbal)
• Excellent organizational skills; strong attention to detail.
• Ability to take initiative to manage and problem-solve multiple projects in a deadline driven environment.
• Sound judgment, tact, diplomacy, integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
• Positive attitude and ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment.
