We invite you to apply to join our growing CBV Collection Services Ltd. team! In operation since 1921, CBV has been a strong, stable and reliable market leader in Accounts Receivable Recovery. With offices located across the country, we require a professional RPG Programmer to join our expanding organization! This position will be located in our Toronto office.
Reporting to Software Development Manager, the RPG programmer is responsible for AS400 system related application development and maintenance.
The position is accountable for AS400 RPG program coding and testing. This role is also responsible for AS400 application maintenance and related troubleshooting.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsibilities of the RPG programmer include, but are not limited to:
? Develop or modify AS400 programs by projects, following standard programming rules.
? Conduct self testing and cross testing when assigned.
? Create technical documents through projects.
? Create user oriented documentation when its interactive job related.
? AS400 application related maintenance(data fix, inquiry investigate)
? AS400 system related software recommend, select, and implemented when needed
? All other duties as required
This position liaises frequently with the Software Development Manager and sometimes the project requestor.
Education, Experience & Qualifications:
The minimum qualifications for this position include:
? University or relevant software development education
? 2 years AS400 programming experience required
? AS400 programming language (OCL, CL, RPG, DDS, QUERY, SQL), and English language as documentation.
