Our client is currently in need of an IT Security Analyst to join their team of IT Professionals in their downtown Toronto office. This is a contract role with an anticipated minimum duration of years end plus an excellent likelihood of extension.

Our client is currently looking for an IT Security Analyst to join their team. This role is a hands on technical role and the successful candidate will be performing Risk, Vulnerability and Security assessments. An ideal candidate will be someone with technical certificates for example GIAC Certified Ethical Hacker.
Job Functions include:
- Conduct Risk Assessments based on our internal methodology (knowledge of the ISF IRAM methodology an asset)
- Conduct Vulnerability Assessments and Penetration Tests
- Conduct Security Assessments of external organizations and internal business units based on our internal methodology
- Work on Security Consulting activities as assigned
General Requirements:
- Excellent analytical skills, must be logical and structured
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Posses the ability to work without supervision
- Must be a self-starter, who is motivated and proactive
Technical Requirements:
- 5 years in a technical services related environment
- 4 years in an IT security related environment with excellent knowledge of Windows, Linux, Unix Operating Systems, and security testing tools
- Excellent knowledge of common LAN and Internet protocols (eg, TCP/IP)
Education:
- College Diploma (required) / University Degree (desired)
Certifications:
- OSCP - Offensive Security Certified Professional (desired)
- GPEN - Certified Penetration Tester (desired)
- GWAPT - Web Application Penetration Tester (desired)
- GFCA - Certified Forensic Analyst (desired)
