Development Operations Manager The Development Operations Manager role will be based out of
• Daily management of a team of up to ten developers
• Manage and control the flow of all feature and bug-fix requests through the development process
• Ensure code, documentation, and quality standards are met
• Establish and/or refine standards and team procedures as needed
• Lead new developers through the orientation process
• Manage security for, and control access to, critical resources
• Manage the ongoing improvements and development of our documentation library
• Plan and coordinate project deliverables with external teams
• Track and report on all project deliverables and timelines
• Recommend and implement workflow improvements for a growing development team
• Participate in design and review meetings for both On Demand and corporate initiatives
• Support our existing On Demand website, and underlying infrastructure
Qualifications:
• 15 years experience overall in software development
• 5 years experience in managing small development teams
• 3 years overall experience in web-related development
• Experience with large public-facing website projects
• Knowledge of the .net application stack - c#, .net, SQL 2005
• Knowledge of current web developer APIs and standards
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Desire to work in a fast-paced, growing team
• Some experience with Lamp stacks is desirable - PostgreSQL, Apache, PHP
• Sharepoint experience is desirable
