Our client is a global software company that is headquartered in Toronto and currently employs over 1,000 employees worldwide. They offer an array of career and professional growth opportunities for successful employees within the company.
They are currently launching a new software division and are looking to hire an Inside Sales Representative to help support and spearhead the launch of this division. As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for the development of new sales opportunities. Using professional sales techniques, you will establish customer relationships and promote the company's software offering. You will spend the majority of your time developing and cultivating new potential clients, moving them through the sales process, and transitioning the account to a final sale. You will act as the primary customer support liaison, until the business achieves critical mass and a dedicated support person can justifiably be added. This role will entail sales in to the US, so you must be comfortable picking up the phone and doing web demo's of the software over Web-x. The majority of leads will be provided to you through the company's marketing efforts. Occassional participation at trade shows will also be part of your role, and will be another major source of lead generation for you.
Ideally, we are looking for a candidate that has 1-3 years of proven sales experience, however, hungry, professional, driven and entrepreneurial graduates will also be considered.
