VOTING WORKS is hiring for part time political organizers.
Are you passionate about social and economic justice? Like working with people?
We're looking for people who are serious about affordable and livable housing, fair wages, better transit, quality public health care and other issues affecting low and moderate income communities. We need people to do political organizing at the community level in Hamilton, Ottawa, and Toronto to get people engaged in the political process. Voting Works is working to organize the unorganized and get more people participating in the democratic process. Multi-lingual applicants encouraged to apply.
Training is provided.
There are multiple positions available.
Pay is $12/hour.
This is a part-time, hourly position - 8-30 hours/week.
All Staff must work on October 6th, 2011
This project will last for 4.5 weeks.
