XRomb Inc. is a new Canadian Startup that aims to be the leading patented software provider of Mobile Wallet solutions.
XRomb is looking for amazing Android developers for our Android & Near Field Communication (NFC) software.

Experience:
• Mobile development (Android, iPhone or BlackBerry) - Specification, design and development of customized services in the field of Mobile Applications and NFC.
• Work with Eclipse, Java/J2EE/JQuery/JavaScript, SOAP, REST, C, C#, Objective-C, Servlets, jUnit, Restlets, DHTML
• Android SDK, ADT Plug-in, Android adb, Ant experience in needed
• Android Device Driver: NFC Experience - Provides access to Near Field Communication (NFC) functionality, allowing applications to read NDEF message in NFC tags.
• Experience building and designing highly scalable mobile Android based apps solutions
• Developing apps that target the Nexus S, Galaxy Tab,
• Safe threading practices & Memory Management
• Experience with applications that can dynamically reformat themselves across multiple screen resolutions.
• Deal with data, feeds and designs.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in Internet products and technologies, and knowledge of one or more of the following: NFC/RFID technologies, different ISO specifications related to NFC, integration with POS readers & systems and payment processing, technical implementation of merchant loyalty, coupon or incentive programs.

Skills Needed:

• Version control (Subversion, Git)
• Rapid Prototyping of GUI elements
• Implementation of production GUI and user workflows
• Full Security algorithms and protocols for error-handling and recovery functionality
• Performance and usability reviews and tuning
• Creation and execution of unit level test cases
• Packaging and deploying applications in an Android environment
• Creation of supporting technical documentation for ongoing maintenance and support activities
• Strong desire to learn and work with new Web and Mobile technologies and architectures
• Passionate about your work and creating quality solutions
