Social Game Art Director (Downtown Toronto)

HugeMonster's mission is to make amazing games - games that we want to play. Our first game, Code of War, is in beta trial and we are driving towards launch later this year. We are looking for an Art Director to join our team and lead us to visual greatness.
Responsibilities
Define visual and art standards/systems and ensure all creative material is consistent
Accurately distinguish which art issues are critical
Evaluate multiple concepts and solutions for various projects and determine which ideas are worth pursuing
Identify inconsistencies and opportunities for improvement within the creative process
Direct the evolution and maintenance of the art pipeline workflow
Design and create visual content for the game when and where necessary
Skills and Experience
7+ years of professional experience including at least 2 years of management experience
An amazing portfolio showcasing a wide range of styles and skills (2D, 3D, characters, animations, etc.)
Prior experience as an Art Director
Expert understanding of storytelling
Bachelor's degree in Arts, Graphic Arts, or related field is required
Experience in the entertainment and/or game markets
2+ years management experience
Strong Conceptual art, 2D and 3D art production skills
Strong collaboration, influencing and communication skills
Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, Maya (or equivalents)
