Position Summary:
Bilingual (French & English) technical support analysts required for a busy, team oriented 7/24 Service Desk supporting technical problems including desktop/operating systems, hardware, software, voice, e-messaging and connectivity. Successful candidates must be available for a 7 day work environment via rotation shifts including overnight shifts and also required to be available for shifts from Monday to Sunday.
Requirements Specification:
- Must be fluent in French and English
- Required minimum 2-3 years of experienced as a Bilingual Technical Support Representative
- Proven track record within a Service Desk/Help Desk environment or equivalent aptitude
- Ability to troubleshoot a variety technical of issues with proven problem determination skills
- Specific experience with MS-Outlook, Java, Windows XP
- Office 2010, Windows 7 and RIM support experience is an asset
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in both English and French
- Ability to work in a high pressure environment
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Should be available for a 7 day work environment via rotations including overnight shifts
- Experience with ticketing systems is an asset
- Post secondary education is an asset
Responsibilities:
- Exemplary technical aptitude combined with excellent customer service and communication skills to field technical support calls
- Ensure efficient problem tracking via ticketing
- Perform assessment of wide-impact or potential wide-impact outages and escalate accordingly
- Provide ongoing feedback regarding problem handling and customer service improvements
- Demonstrate continued skill development by supporting multiple lines of business
