Oracle Application Business Analyst (Toronto)

Our client is a leading provider of payroll, human resources management, benefits administration, time and labour management, occupational health and safety, comprehensive outsourcing and consulting services. They are seeking an Oracle Application Business Analyst who will be responsible for the customization, support, maintenance, and problem resolution of an Oracle application in a high availability mission critical systems environment.
Daily responsibilities:
• Analyse product gaps and business needs
• Build and manage a long term client relationship
• Build and manage close relationships with development partners
• Mentor and train team members and peers in the Financial Systems Group
• Facilitate and participate in project prioritization plans
• Review Oracle applications upgrade and patch information, documenting impact of implementation from user perspective including value added new features and changes to existing functions
• Ensure the highest level of quality is delivered in upgrades, changes, releases and implementations by maintaining an appropriate test environment and standards
• Create test strategies and plans, write specific test cases, and build transactions to run tests and verify results
• Provide ongoing support and expertise of products and systems, diagnosing problems and assisting in the development of solutions
Requirements:
• Knowledge of Oracle E-Business Suite 11i or 12i
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Related area/field experience
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Dynamism and motivation
