Very Urgent 6 to 12 months contract C# Java Ms-Sql Developer (Toronto)

Very urgently looking for solid and proven C#, Java/J2EE/JEE, Ms-Sql Developer. Candidates/Incumbents should also have at least 2 to 3 years of banking or insurance or financial industry work experience.
This is a 6 to 12 months contract to start with
Location will be core downtown Toronto.
Hourly rate will be around $ 53 to 60 per hour.
This project is the creation of an enterprise Web portal for the financial company ere they are integrating old applications onto this new portal platform.
-Over time, the plan is to phase these old applications out
-This resource will be used to migrate information from the old system to the new portal platform.
TOP 3 MUST HAVE TECHNICAL SKILLS:
-C#
-Java
-SQL Server
-Banking/Industry experience would be a strong asset.
-However manager prefers strong technical skill set over industry.
3-6 years application development experience
- 3 years experience in application development in the Financial Services industry
Skills and Competencies:
- Able to learn new programming languages quickly and efficiently
- Ability to communicate ideas and take on board the ideas of others
- Knowledge of business line and ability to produce high quality results -- would be an asset
- Ability to seek improvements to all aspects of development process
- Knowledge in computing in general and ability to apply outside knowledge to our work -- would be an asset
Attributes:
- Can deal with ambiguity and manage requests for change
- Comfortable in high pressure, deadline-oriented environment
- Ability to adapt quickly; function independently when required
- Ability to work effectively with people from outside the IT team
- Creative thinker, breakthrough innovative, 'out of the box' thinker
- Ability to learn new things and ask good questions
- Team player, cooperative with good interpersonal skills
