Corporate Training Coordinator (York Region)

Position Overview: The Corporate Training Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of
the technical training requirements, including the creation and maintenance of all training
records.
Key Responsibilities:
-- Establish a training record for each new hire
-- Work with hiring managers and Human Resources to determine training requirements for
each position
-- Schedule training sessions for each new hire and coordinate the completion of training
-- Maintain the mandatory and On-the-Job training record database
-- Present training records during ISO audits
-- Continuously develop and improve the mandatory training content
-- Support additional training events
-- Prepare and present monthly reports on training activity
-- Continuously improve training process and content
-- Deliver some content if possible
Required Skills & Knowledge:
-- Experience with Lotus Notes database records management
-- Ability to work independently
-- Strong attention to detail
-- Strong communication skills;
-- Fluency in a second language, particularly Mandarin or Spanish would be an asset
Required Qualifications and Experience:
-- 1-3 years of experience in an ISO controlled manufacturing environment
-- Post-secondary education (college diploma or university degree) or equivalent
-- Familiarity with electronics manufacturing would be an asset
