Overall Description:
The Sales Operations Specialist is responsible for meeting and exceeding all Sales Operations objectives within. She/he will report directly to the Sales Operations Supervisor.
Major Activities
• Reporting Support for the Sales Operations group
• Maintaining and updating Take Charge awards database
• Maintaining and updating the Take Charge Management Tools website
• Developing applications to support sales operations group
Time Management
• Work 40-hour, five-day week
• Leverage internal resources to assist in service related issues
Self-Organization
• Maintain a professional image, self, UPS, and sales material.
Necessary Proficiencies
• Communications (written/oral)
• Microsoft Office products (Word, Access, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Time management
• Multi-tasking
• Ability to complete work on schedule (deadline sensitive)
• Ability to complete work accurately and professionally (attention to detail)
• Ability to work with cross functional groups (management, administration, and Sales team)
• Structure and process of Canada Business Development
• Advanced skills with Microsoft Excel
• Advanced skills with Microsoft Access/SQL
• Intermediate skills with VB programming
• Intermediate skills with ASP and ColdFusion
• Experience coding HTML
• Excellent knowledge of ODBC
Company Relations
• Understand and comply with company's policies and procedures.
• Leverage institutional resources in all departments of the company. Network with, develop positive relationships with and communicate with all partners in Operations, Marketing, Industrial Engineering,.
