Senior Telco Network Engineers - Bermuda
We are seeking qualified Network Engineers on behalf of our client's professional services team in beautiful Bermuda. Their consultants currently manage or co-manage the international computer network operations and facilities of many of the premier corporations in Bermuda including international insurance and reinsurance companies, banks, law firms, accounting firms and more.
Working in a client-facing role, the successful candidates will be involved in a major upgrade of a telecommunication company's network. They will be responsible for duties including configuration, deployment, maintainance and support for a growing network infrastructure and new service offerings.
Requirements:
We are seeking candidates with a minimum of 5-7 years of experience with Cisco Carrier equipment (physical and logical configurations) combined with at least one advanced industry certification such as CCIE Service Provider, CCIE Routing & Switching, JNCIE, CCNP.
Applicants should have extensive knowledge in as many as possible of the following:
- Routing experience in a Cisco powered service provider environment
- OSPF, BGP, MP-BGP routing protocols
- MPLS, MPLS-TE, RSVP, VPLS, Pseudowire, CESoPSN, SAToP
- Multicast
- IPv4, IPv6 and SNMP
- IOS-XR, IOS-XE, IOS
- Experience with Unix operating systems in a service provider environment
- Project Management methodologies
This role will involve relocating to beautiful Bermuda for an initial term of 2 years (with the possibility of extension). Due to the international move required, candidates should be highly portable, able to relocate fairly quickly and have outside interests that lend themselves to Bermuda's idyllic living environment.
Compensation offered will be competitive, commensurate with experience and is nearly tax free (5.25% tax). Relocation assistance and health insurance contributions are also offered.
