Karaoke Host/Hostess & Promoter to Rock our Venue (TORONTO)

POSITION : KARAOKE HOSTESS/HOST & PROMOTER
TIME & SALARY:
Part-time work, on a weekly basis; Must be able to work weeknights between 8pm-2am and the occasional weekend. Starting pay is $10.25 per hour, plus bonus's. One nights work a week to start off, more to follow.
PURPOSE:
We are a new entertainment company seeking motivated individuals in these positions; Karaoke Hosts, DJs, Promoters, Comedians, and Bands. We do events at venues across the GTA.
VENUE:
We are currently working to find a Karaoke Host/Hostess & Promoter for The Groove Bar & Grill. The Groove Bar (110person capacity) is casual-cool, boasting a large bar that mixes contemporary & classic drinks, as-well as popular draught beers and has a full menu too.

Auditions will be taking place @ The Groove Bar & Grill, tomorrow night;
Wednesday, August, 17th, between 9pm-2am

QUALIFICATIONS OF KARAOKE HOST/HOSTESS
-Previous experience is a plus, however is not necessary.
-Between the age of 19-29.
-TTC Metropass or owns vehicle, would be an asset. However is not necessary.
-Some experience with online social media.
-Is a Karaoke fan, with a willingness to learn.
-A positive attitude, with an upbeat personality.
-Being a good singer isn't necessary; however, having fun while singing karaoke is a must.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Creating an atmosphere that is fun for the patrons.
-Perform to entertain guests.
-Promotion of karaoke night through; on location face to face promotion and handing out business cards & flyers.
-Must help set-up karaoke equipment at the beginning of the night and pack it at the end of the night.
-Mixing the sound, to ensure the singers performing sound great on your stage.
-Keeping track of the singer rotation, to ensure everybody has an equal amount of time in the spotlight.
- Promoting the venue's food and drink menus to help ensure profitability. (For bar and restaurant venues)
-Ability to work well with co-workers and under management.
-Maintain professional behaviour at all times.
-Have patience dealing with singers and clientele.
