Part-Time, Telemarketing Associate, RBC Dominion Securities (Oakville, Ontario)

Position Purpose:
An RBC Dominion Securities branch located in Oakville is looking for a Part-Time Telemarketing Associate who will work along side Investment Advisors with the goal of building business. As a Telemarketing Associate, you will be responsible for proactively contacting potential clients and introducing the Investment Advisors' services you will also be expected to work with staff in preparing and sending out mailings and information packages. This role is ideal for an individual who is interested in learning about the financial industry.
Key Accountabilities:
-Initial cold calls from a list of prospective clients
-Follow up telephone calls to potential clients
-Introduction of clients to Investment Advisors
The position will not include:
-Advising clients on or selling investment products
Knowledge/Experience:
-Telemarketing experience
-Strong oral and written English communication skills
-Ability to make proactive telephone calls and introduce new services
-Self confidence and demonstrated ability to persuade
-Strong coordination skills
-Excellent presentation skills
-Excellent customer service attitude/interpersonal skills
-Ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks
-Ability to work independently with little supervision
Minimum compensation:
$12.50 per hour + $100+/Booking
Accreditations:
CSC would be an asset
