UNIX, Linux, Mac OS X and VoIP administrator
at Smart Energy Instruments Inc. in Oakville
Highly technical company looking for a part time system administrator to manage a network of up to about 10-15 Mac OS X/UNIX workstations, associated servers, external facing services (HTTP, SFTP, hg, git, VoIP/SIP...) and user applications (both desktop and running on servers).
A highly creative engineering environment, we are looking for an individual to support our talented team and grow with us. Estimate 2-3 half days per week to maintain, support, and expand our network and computer infrastructure after an initial more intensive learning curve and setup period.
UNIX/Linux skills and familiarity with building and installing OpenSource software a must.
Communications skills key. Must be a self starter, but able to work with and support others who
rely on the services IT provides.
