About Us:
CPG Connect (http://cpgconnect.ca) is job board and business networking site exclusively for the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) Industry in Canada. It is a destination site for Consumer Packaged Goods professionals or anyone looking to start a career in CPG.
We are looking for an Intermediate to Senior Php Developer with the capacity to dedicate up to 20 hours per week. (Possibility of Full-Time)
Responsibilities:
Champion working through any issues that arise with the site and adding new features and strategies to drive site traffic and site usage. Specific projects will include:
• Working through site issues that arise
• Innovation: Adding new site features to drive more site traffic
• Search Engine Optimization – coming up with strategies and plans to get CPG Connect up in page rank
Qualifications:
o PHP 5
o SQL (use of MySQL database with PHP)
o JavaScript
o Joomla (an asset)
o Strong communication skills both written and oral
o Strong attention to detail
o Strong project management skills
Compensation:
o Competitive Hourly Rate based on experience
