P/T Newspaper Promo Reps Needed (On Subway Line)

Excellent opportunity for STUDENTS, RETIREES, THOSE WISHING TO SUPPLEMENT THEIR INCOME:
Overview
Since June 21, 2010, Toronto has experienced a personal distribution of a daily newspaper. As part of this release, we are actively seeking energetic and enthusiastic people to market and promote this commuter-focused newspaper. Candidates will be placed at various Toronto transit stations as well as downtown street corners to distribute the paper to commuters! There is NO SALES involved in this position.
All candidates MUST be willing to work 5 days per week, Monday – Friday and be available for an anticipated September start date. Candidates should ideally live close to transit stations but be willing to travel to any station including the downtown core.
Candidates Must Be:
- Well groomed and professional
- Reliable and trustworthy
- Comfortable to approach people and initiate conversation
- Friendly, polite, enthusiastic, and energetic
- Able to use basic math to complete inventory counts and report distribution numbers
- Able to work in adverse weather conditions
- Physically able to carry a bundle that weighs up to 20 pounds and stand for over 3 hours with no breaks.
- Available to work 5 days per week
More Details
Shifts are 3 hours in length and are currently start at either 6:00am or 6:30am. Candidates must be willing to work 5 days per week (Monday-Friday)
