Office Assistant (Toronto [downtown])

Cineflix is a leading international media company that is bringing together a mix of global broadcast and production partners, major talent and key executives to get top quality original content produced and distributed for television and other emerging platforms. Currently involved in the creation of 250 hours per year of multi-genre TV for international broadcasters, and with a rapidly expanding library of over 1000 hours, Cineflix is a recognized leader in the industry with offices in Montréal, Toronto, London, Dublin and New York.
Cineflix is looking for an Office Assistant who will be reporting to our Office Manager and assisting the Operations team. This is a full-time entry level position in Toronto.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Camera Equipment Bookings and Maintenance
• Furniture Assembly and Placement
• Power Tool Maintenance
• Interoffice Mail Distribution/Mail Runs
• Emptying Dishwashers/Restocking Dishes
• Reception Covering
• Storage Maintenance and Management
• Assist with Internal Office Moves
• Misc. Maintenance Tasks
• Other duties as assigned by the office manager or office coordinators
Qualifications/Skills:
• Highly organized for inventory and storage management
• Heavy lifting required
• Must be comfortable with basic tools and power tools (hammer, drill, etc)
• Must be comfortable doing basic repairs (hole in walls, painting, etc)
• Knowledge of Operation and Maintenance of Camera Equipment Preferred
• Knowledge of Production Media considered a Bonus
