Receptionist - 3 month contract leading to full time (Jane/Langstaff)
at Human Resources in Toronto
RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Answering/transferring calls, direct calls and take messages
• Greet and direct visitors
• Maintain and order office, negotiate best prices
• Matching invoices with packing slip accordingly when received
• Sorts and distributes mail accordingly.
• Receive and forward emails to the appropriate employee.
• Maintain Keyscan system. Print out the report of the attendance and get General Manager to sign off
• Sets up pick-up, deliveries for hardware or glass samples going outbound
• File all PO’s
• Help and support accounting department with any requests on a timely fashion.
• Set up voicemail and names on the telephone system for any changes or new employees.
• Keeps directory updated
• File all quotes and sort accordingly
• Prepare labels for checks given from AP and put in security envelopes, stamp and give back to AP to mail.
• Prepares other reports as required
• Other duties as assigned by management
QUALIFICATIONS
• 1-3 years of Reception experience
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Excellent computer skills; primarily Microsoft Office programs
• Ability to multi-task and problem solve
• Organized and detail-oriented
