Bilingual Accounts Receivable Analyst (Northwest of Toronto)

Our client located Northwest of Toronto (Vaughan) is seeking a Bilingual Accounts Receivable Analyst to join their team. The incumbent reports to the Financial Accounting Manager and is responsible for ensuring the integrity of the company’s accounts receivable through accurate application of cash received and timely reconciliation.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
1. Apply payment to customer accounts for an assigned region accurately and on a timely basis. This will also include processing of charge-backs for stores and adjustments for ROA errors
2. Set up customer deductions and forward to the appropriate department
3. Liaise with customers, store staff, Credit Managers, Retail Sales Account Managers and Customer Service Administration to resolve payment discrepancy issues
4. Participate in special projects
Qualifications:
- Three to five years of accounts receivable experience in a retail type environment
- SAP experience an asset
- Must be fluently bilingual in both English and French
