JOB SUMMARY
To establish guidelines and ensure control of all the revenue generated, in accordance to The Ritz-Carlton Standard.


RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary responsibilities of the role include:

• Review Daily Revenue report, F&B and Market Segment report.
• Analyze Officer checks and input them in the Excel Sheet.
• Check Paid Outs, allowances and miscellaneous against the print out made by the night auditor.
• Submit the paid outs, allowances and the officer checks to the signature of the Financial Controller.
• Check the business calls printed by the night auditor.
• Make the Journal Vouchers.
• Import F.O. data General Ledger and after check and correct, update.
• Send the Daily Revenue Report to corporate.
• Review housekeeping report in daily basis and compare with the print out from Fidelio.
• Review the Paymasters and the Lost Postings
• Assist the auditor and General Cashier making spot checks in F.O. and outlets
• Verify all clearing accounts for accuracy and proceed all the necessary documents and procedures for the month closing.
• Print and control daily Fidelio Front Office report and prepare the Daily Revenue Report.
• Control and file addition checks of the F&B outlets (e.g. officer, entertainment, credit card slips and cash)
• Input Micros reports to Excel.
• Calculate and control breakdowns of Banquet and catering revenues.
• Calculate breakdown of overall rebates to revenue centers.
• Control Front Office Opera output info in Excel
o Room revenue
o Room statistics
o Average rates
o Telephone
o Laundry
o Parking
o Business Center
o Guest ledger
o Debtors
o Credit cards
o Cash
o Miscellaneous
• Prepare daily cash control report.
• Balance F&B outlet revenues.
• Prepare daily reports.
o Daily Revenue Report
o Monthly revenue report
o Input miscellaneous credit vouchers to the daily report
o F&B daily and monthly report
o Control daily journal vouchers
o Telephone statistics
o Calculate SPA membership revenue
• Input corrections in Fidelio Front Office System
o Minibar
o telephone charges
o Interface lost postings
o Micros voucher
o Micros late charges
• Prepare filings for office, entertainment’s, rebate and paid outs for control and approval of Director of Finance.
• Follow fire and work safety regulations.

MONTHLY JOBS:
• Clear input in Excel files by the opening of the new month. Input Budget figures in the Excel files.
• Calculate Health Club Deferred Income Revenue and input to back office system.
• Calculate room statistics and input to back office systems.
• Check-in all Micros PM’s which have been checked out at the end of the previous month.
• File all miscellaneous credit vouchers according to Account numbers and date.


PROFILE
Experience
? Must have a minimum of 1 year experience as Night Audit and in Front Office with The Ritz-Carlton or another hotel company.

Education
? College Diploma or University Degree

Required Skills
? Ability to maintain hotel’s standards, policies and procedures
? Ability to maintain positive and engaging relations with all inquiries
? Proficiency in Outlook and Microsoft Excel
? Fluency in English language – both written and spoken
? Ability to multi task and take on cross functional tasks when required
? Ability to direct and supervise others
? Ability to train and develop others
? Great communication skills
? Ability to be clear forward thinker, analyze and resolve problems using good judgment in pressure situations.
? Ability to focus on details, analyze and resolve numerical problems.
? Ability to work with constant interruptions and maintain a calm, pleasant and professional attitude.
? Ability to ensure confidentiality of pertinent hotel data/information.
? Ability to work without direct supervision.
? Ability to communicate in English with guests, visitors and hotel staff.
? Computer knowledge of Opera system, point of sales system knowledge.
