JOB DESCRIPTION: Online Marketing Specialist, SEO, Development and Design
A leading Canadian Health and Nutrition company, www.belmarra.ca , is looking to grow their Online Marketing team with a Specialist in Online Marketing and Search Engine Optimization. We are interested in hiring a progressive professional who will identify strategic online initiatives and Search Engine (on and off page) Optimization opportunities for a family of content and product E commerce websites. This position will be responsible for delivering to the strategic revenue and growth goals of the company.
Essential Functions:
1) Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive E marketing initiatives and search engine optimization recommendations including detailed search behavior and code optimization/analysis as well as linking strategy.
2) Implement website design standards and template User Interfaces for a collection of websites
3) Manage and Coordinate redesign family of legacy websites.
4) Active involvement in cross functional teams including Technology, Publishing, Graphics and Marketing
5) Improve and Manage company E metrics (Traffic, Conversion, P&L)
6) Manage overall online marketing strategy and tactics, CPC, Joint Ventures, lead generation (B to C)
Skills Required:
5 to 10 years professional experience, demonstrating a track record of success.
2 to 3 years in an Online Marketing oversight position.
Strong knowledge of and experience with Internet tools - HTML, CSS, PHP; verifiable expertise of web design, layout, and sound SEO design principles
Expertise in Content Management Systems and Wordpress and Joomla
Extensive knowledge of Search Engine Optimization ranking tools (e.g., WebPosition, WebCEO)
Meticulous attention to detail, while handling multiple responsibilities
Possess strong business ethics; be reliable and dependable
Ability to explain difficult concepts using simple language
